Nestled on the edge of Umtata, Ebony Lodge offers a delightful retreat that stands out amidst its surroundings. Our stay was characterized by the colonial charm of the property, where large, well-appointed rooms provided a cozy sanctuary after long days of exploring. I was especially impressed by the attentiveness of the staff - they swiftly addressed our initial lack of towels and pillows, ensuring our comfort was prioritized. The restaurant atmosphere was equally inviting, with the Trio of fillets being a standout dish that I'd highly recommend to fellow culinary enthusiasts. The outdoor area was perfect for unwinding, and we found the sound of laughter and gentle music from the bar created a relaxing backdrop to our evenings. With a spacious room and a beautifully designed bathroom, complete with both a bath and shower, I felt right at home.
